Electrical Designer

About the role

Maintain quality of project deliverables as per customer requirements. Monitor project status. Drive process improvements and explore automation opportunities. Ensure team utilization. Communicate effectively with clients to understand requirements and generate new business opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain component libraries and ensure compliance with wiring standards.
• Select appropriate components of wiring harness as per automotive standards and domain knowledge (wires, connectors, terminals, seals, fuses, relays, insulation, retention items).
• Prepare and manage installation assemblies, drawing & bracket designs.
• Cook up and manage cross-functional teams for smooth project workflow.
• Handle customer and onsite engineer meetings for project status, feedback, and future work opportunities.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with Creo, Capital Harness XC, Capital Library, Windchill (PDM).
• Strong knowledge of automotive wiring standards and product design.
