Qualifications
- Design and develop complex electrical systems and processes, ensuring they are compliant with industry standards and regulations.
- Utilize AutoCAD to create detailed electrical designs and schematics.
- Develop and maintain PLC I/O diagrams, panel layouts, and pneumatic schematics.
- Manage power distribution and AC/Servo drives.
- Ensure designs comply with UL 508, UL 698A, NEC, NFPA79, and SCCR standards.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of engineers and designers to create the best possible electrical solutions.
- Conduct thorough inspections and tests of electrical systems and components to ensure optimal functionality.
- Continually stay updated with the latest advancements and technologies in the electrical engineering field to incorporate into designs.
- Provide technical support and guidance to junior team members, fostering an environment of learning and growth.
- Work closely with project managers to ensure that all project deliverables are met within the set timelines.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in electrical design, particularly within the Engineering industry.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant design software.
- Extensive knowledge of UL 508, UL 698A, NEC, NFPA79, and SCCR standards.
- Experience with PLC I/O diagrams, panel layouts, pneumatic schematics, power distribution, and AC/Servo drives.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively within a team and independently.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- A proactive mindset with a strong drive for continuous learning and development.
- Professional Engineering (PE) license is a plus.
