About the role
Lead the design and development of industrial controls systems for custom automated machinery.
Responsibilities
- Produce electrical schematics, single-line diagrams, panel layouts, cable schedules, and detailed installation documentation.
- Create and revise CAD drawings utilizing AutoCAD Electrical or similar electrical design platforms.
- Generate and maintain accurate Bills of Material (BOMs) to support manufacturing and procurement processes.
- Collaborate closely with panel shop technicians to resolve design issues and optimize buildability.
- Support troubleshooting and issue resolution during panel fabrication, testing, commissioning, and startup phases.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in industrial electrical design and control panel development.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD Electrical or similar electrical CAD software platforms.
- Strong working knowledge of control systems and the National Electrical Code (NEC).
