About the role
Join a dynamic team as the Electrical Design Regional Manager overseeing regional electrical engineering operations for a leading organization in the life science sector. This hybrid role based in Conshohocken, PA offers the opportunity to lead a talented team of approximately 20 engineers and designers across multiple projects. You will coordinate with clients, develop staffing plans, manage project estimates, and ensure the delivery of innovative electrical systems designed to meet complex life science facility requirements. As a key leader, you’ll drive strategic initiatives, foster professional development, and contribute to the successful execution of multi-disciplinary projects, all while ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.
Responsibilities
- Lead a regional team of ~20 electrical engineers and designers
- Coordinate with life-science clients and multi-disciplinary professionals
- Develop staffing plans and project estimates
- Oversee design and delivery of medium/low-voltage power systems, large UPS/generator systems, lighting, grounding, and heat-trace solutions
- Monitor team performance and support professional growth
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering (Master’s preferred)
- Minimum 15 years of electrical engineering and design experience focused on building electrical systems within life science or campus facilities
- Expertise in medium/low-voltage power systems, large UPS/generator systems, lighting, grounding, and heat-trace design
- Strong working knowledge of Revit and other electrical design tools
- Professional Engineer (PE) license highly preferred
- Proven leadership experience managing engineering teams
- Excellent verbal/written communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
