Electrical Design Manager
About the role
As the Electrical Design Manager, you will lead and develop a team of designers. This role has significant influence over project assignments, the selection of design tools, and the refinement of standard work and processes. It provides the experience necessary to prepare you for future advancement into more senior leadership roles.
Responsibilities
- Lead and coach a team of employees.
- Manage weekly timecard approvals for the team using Kronos.
- Drive team performance and growth through consistent coaching, monthly one-on-one meetings, and the creation of development opportunities.
- Ensure project success by keeping the team focused on goals, timelines, and adherence to standard work procedures.
- Cultivate a positive and proactive team culture by fostering a growth mindset.
- Complete year-end evaluations.
- Provide targeted coaching and create action plans to help individuals realign with performance expectations.
- Conduct performance-related conversations with professionalism, deliver constructive feedback to address challenges, and encourage growth.
- Play a key role in decisions related to team objectives, promotions, and compensation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience.
Pay
Annual Base Salary Range: $65,200.00 - $118,860.00 (salaried position). The actual compensation will depend on factors such as seniority, merit, geographic location, education, experience, travel requirements, and union designation.
