Responsibilities
- Work with cross-functional project teams to develop new products
- Rapidly design and prototype new product concepts
- Conduct laboratory tests of new conceptual designs
- Schematic capture and PCB layout of analog, digital, and mixed-signal circuit cards
- Assemble, bring-up, and debug new electronic designs
- Develop test plans for design validation
- Test systems and subsystems for design validation
- Document design with schematic drawings as well as supporting design documentation
- Techically communicate with internal and external customers
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer and Systems Engineering, or similar field with Co-Op experience or years of experience in lieu of degree
- Minimum of 2 years of directly related experience
- Highly motivated, self-driven, and eager to learn new technologies
- Strong problem-solving skills, good communication skills, and ability to work in a team
- Comfortable with at-a-desk design, hands-on laboratory work, and interfacing with manufacturing
- Familiar with standard electronic test and measurement equipment
- Experience with Altium Designer or Cadence OrCAD/Allegro
- Experience with microcontroller circuit design and programming
- Experience with FPGAs and CPLDs
- Ability to demonstrate relationship building skills and be comfortable interacting with technical professionals
- Strong understanding of technology development process and industry-related technology trends

Due to Department of Defense contract requirements, U.S. CITIZENSHIP IS REQUIRED.
