Electrical Design Engineer

About the Role

We are hiring an Electrical Design Engineer who knows how to take a project from concept to constructible reality. If you understand power distribution, lighting, grounding, control systems, and NEC compliance inside and out, and you enjoy seeing your work executed in the field, this is a role where you will have real impact. You will partner directly with preconstruction, project management, and field teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and in full compliance.

What You Will Own

• Design of commercial and industrial electrical systems
• Load calculations, short circuit and coordination studies
• Single line diagrams, panel schedules, equipment layouts
• Code compliance with NEC and local standards
• Technical support for RFIs, submittals, value engineering, and equipment selection
• Site visits, troubleshooting, commissioning support

This is not a drafting role. You will be involved in decisions that affect constructability, cost efficiency, and performance.

What You Bring

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• 2 plus years of commercial or industrial project experience
• Strong command of NEC and electrical codes
• Experience working alongside contractors and general contractors
• Design build exposure preferred
• AutoCAD proficiency required. Revit preferred
• SKM, ETAP, EasyPower or similar analysis software experience a plus
