Responsibilities

• Prepare all necessary documents to support the modification of Bombardier aircraft such as wire diagrams, functional test plans and reports, technical requirement documents, electrical load analysis, and design compliance reports.
• Coordinate extensively with outside suppliers, internal departments, and regulatory agencies regarding the design, installation, integration, testing, and certification of avionics and entertainment systems on all Bombardier platforms.
• Research specifications for component selection and coordinate with suppliers to ensure specifications are met.
• Assist service center personnel in investigating, troubleshooting, and resolution of build/modification and test issues.
• Work in a team environment.

Requirements

• Minimum of 0-2 years of relevant experience in practical avionics/electrical system installations, testing, or integration in aviation.
• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent degree (highly preferred).
• Proficiency in creating electrical drawings using AutoCAD (preferred).
• Working knowledge of Cabin Management Systems (preferred).
• Working knowledge of applicable regulatory certification rules (FAA, EASA, TCCA).
• Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).
• Working knowledge of electrical, avionics, and wire harness design guidelines for CFR Part 25 aircraft is preferred.
• Ability to handle multiple initiatives effectively as a self-starter.
• Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Organized individual able to work effectively with a variety of cross-functional individuals, departments, and organizations.
