About the role

The Electrical Design Engineer will contribute to the maturation of analog and digital/mixed‑signal (AMS) subsystems for advanced radar systems, ensuring technical excellence, cross‑functional collaboration, and long‑term product health.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the maturation of Analog and Digital/Mixed‑Signal (AMS) subsystems for advanced radar systems, ensuring technical excellence and strong cross‑functional collaboration.
  • Design, verify, transition to manufacturing, and support the long‑term health of those designs.
  • Lead and contribute to design‑shaping discussions and technical reviews with multidisciplinary teams to develop robust radar architectures, resolve complex technical challenges, and align work with program objectives and Design for Excellence (DFX) principles.
  • Provide technical expertise in AMS circuit design, simulation, and analysis to guide design execution, verification planning, and risk mitigation.
  • Contribute to root‑cause investigations, trade studies, and continuous improvement initiatives throughout the product lifecycle.

Required Skills / Experience

  • Background in Analog & Mixed‑Signal Circuit Design with a strong foundation in analog and mixed‑signal circuit theory.
  • Hands‑on experience developing high‑reliability commercial or consumer products.
  • Understanding of core analog and digital building blocks such as operational amplifiers, logic gates, clock buffers, level shifters, power management ICs, current mirrors, charge pumps, oscillators, and voltage regulators.
  • Familiarity with low‑speed signaling protocols (e.g., SPI, I²C).
  • Proficiency with circuit design and simulation tools such as Altium Designer (or equivalent) and SPICE‑like tools.
  • Knowledge of component selection and layout optimization for efficiency, thermal performance, and signal integrity.
  • Practical experience applying Design for Manufacturability, Assembly, and Test principles to improve product quality, testability, and yield.
  • Strong testing and verification background, including board bring‑up, acceptance testing, and design verification of PCBs.
  • Skilled in debugging and troubleshooting circuits using oscilloscopes, function generators, logic analyzers, digital multimeters, and other lab equipment.

Qualifications

  • BS Degree in Engineering, Material Science, or Physics.
  • 2 or more years of experience in design of printed circuit assemblies for mixed‑signal applications.
  • Eligibility to handle export‑controlled information (ITAR/EAR); applicants must be U.S. citizens, green card holders, or have asylum/refugee status in the U.S.
