Electrical Controls Engineer (SIEMENS PLC)

Maintained Qualifications

• Minimum 4-year controls/electrical degree required.
• Familiarity with PLC/HMI programming required.
• Intimate with UL and NEC.
• Preferred - knowledge of water treatment equipment and components.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe work environment.
• Develop Electrical Drawings & Control programming (Siemens required) from P&ID's.
• Ability to integrate PLC logic with DCS/SCADA systems.
• Source new components and electrical instruments.
• Review Customer System Specifications and reflect to design.
• Selecting and evaluating electrical industrial instruments.
• Travel required to perform troubleshooting, training and start-up support.
• Work with field services to provide electrical & control support.
• Work within a budget.
• Create BOM or list for procurement for electrical and instruments and control.
• Work with outsourcing design or programming to create drawings, and program.
