Responsibilities
- Working with project managers to share specs and information to the field and lead planners.
- Serving as a liaison between the preconstruction team, project managers, and field/lead planners.
- Supporting the collaboration of projects across different business units within Guarantee.
- Aiding in data entry into Guarantees materials management program.
- Assisting project managers with documentation and workflow management.
- Coordinating and planning efforts for project documentation from start to finish.
- Preparing and maintaining contractual agreements for procurement of electrical construction-related goods and services.
- Tracking subcontractors, changes, and preparing and maintaining files.
- Issuing Change Orders and monitoring their status.
- Submittal of permit applications and inspection requests.
- Managing and updating electrical drawings, panel schedules, and creating submittal logs.
- Developing and preparing detailed electrical and construction installation documents.
- Providing engineering support during the construction phase of projects.
- Developing conceptual designs, sketches, and Value Engineering ideas.
- Performing engineering calculations and studies for power distribution system design, lighting levels, and coordination.
- Ensuring designs are inputted using REVIT/Navisworks and checked for quality and accuracy.
- Developing engineered construction installation drawings from contract documents.
- Offering technical support to project managers, field personnel, estimators, and customers.
Requirements
- Must be a current student pursuing a degree in Electrical, Construction Management, Construction Technology, Electrical estimating / Engineering, Manufacturing, Occupational Safety, or a similar program of study.
