Electrical Box Assembler-1st Shift
About the role
The Sanmina Fremont facility is a full-service enclosure systems solution manufacturing plant. Located in California’s Silicon Valley, this facility produces low-to-mid volume New Product Introduction (NPI) runs to full-scale volume. The Fremont facility offers everything from small piece parts to fully integrated and tested systems. In addition, this location offers in-house painting capabilities and flexible logistics solutions in distribution, inventory management and hubbing, as well as repair services.
Responsibilities
- Performs a wide variety of electronic or electro-mechanical assembly tasks in support of developmental requirements in pre-production projects.
- Works from rough schematics, blueprints and oral instructions to construct developmental assemblies, sub-assemblies and components.
- Must have the ability to perform a wide variety of mechanical or electro-mechanical assembly operations according to verbal or written instructions, or by following drawings or diagrams.
- Must be able to operate hand tools, power tools and material handling equipment as needed.
- Initiates process improvements of assigned working area.
Requirements
- Requires a minimum of 2-4 years related experience of production and technical knowledge.
- High school diploma and college courses preferred.
- Able to lift and push up to 20 pounds
- Able to stand all day
- Able to communicate in English
- Able to use hand tools such as a Electric drivers
- Able to work 40+ a week
- Ability to multitask and prioritize workload to meet strict deadlines under supervision
- Read and understand prints and drawings.

This is an ITAR facility and applicants must be a US Citizen or a lawful permanent resident.
Pay
Salary Range (annual): $47,840 - $56,160 ($23.00 - $27.00 per hour).
Schedule
Actual base pay within this range (determined at the offer stage) will be based on a candidate's years of relevant work experience, education, certifications, and skills, and is just one element of our total rewards package. The total rewards package also includes a variety of benefits, including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business and, depending on the role, may include eligibility for restricted stock unit awards and participation in a discretionary bonus program.
