Responsibilities
- Aid in writing quotations and project proposals, estimate projects when needed, review contracts, set up projects in relevant software applications, and collaborate with project managers, on-site foremen, and general contractors on assigned work.
- Collaborate with the Production and Field teams; Project Managers, Site Superintendents, and Field Staff.
- Participate in design, preconstruction, construction, and testing coordination.
- Assist Project Managers in managing projects, subcontracts, suppliers, and inspectors to meet construction deadlines and client expectations.
- Assist Project Managers in reviewing design documents, plans, specifications, estimates, schedules, and reports.
- Coordinate with change order cost estimates, prepare related reports, budget, and adhere to accounting practices.
- Create professional documents, edit and proof written materials, prepare and maintain comprehensive reports and records.
Qualifications
- At least 2 years of Project Engineer experience in the electrical construction industry.
- Understanding of engineering in electric power.
- Field experience coordinating with construction management.
- Extensive knowledge of project scheduling, bidding, take-offs, change orders, and contracts.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain professional relationships and secure project wins.
- Demonstrated ability to manage a profitable portfolio.
- BSEE or Construction Management degree preferred.
- Journeyman or Master Electrician’s license advantageous.
Compensation
