Electrical Assembly - 2nd Shift

Responsibilities
- Assemble complex fuel control units for gas turbine engines.
- Fabricate electrical and/or mechanical assemblies.
- Follow manufacturing planning for instructions and inspection requirements.
- Perform wire cutting, stripping, dressing ends, and other simple cable operations.
- Solder wires and other electronic components.
- Perform assembly operations or inspection under microscope or other magnifying device as required.
- Perform intermediate assembly tasks, such as potting, encapsulating, sanding, cleaning, epoxy bonding, curing, arbor pressing.
- Assemble bearings, pistons, O-rings, seals, springs etc. into machined housings.
- Verify dimensions and/or performance using standard measuring instruments.
- Responsible for and accountable for product safety and the quality of work, including, as a minimum, all elements defined in the Company’s Quality Policy.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2+ years of experience with machining and electrical assemblies.
- 1 year using precision tools, fixtures, and measuring equipment.
- Must be able to read, understand, and correctly interpret basic blueprint drawings and follow planning instructions.
- Attention to detail, ability to perform multiple tasks at the same time, and work in a team environment.
- Able to perform detailed work requiring fine motor skills.
- Capable of lifting 50 pounds from floor to height of 25 inches, capable of pushing or pulling a weight of 60 pounds, have a grip strength of at least 50 pounds, and be able to reach above shoulder 65 inches above floor level (minimum).
- U.S. Citizenship required.
