Duties And Responsibilities
- Reads and interprets electrical drawings for product assembly.
- Assembles parts and tools as per each work order, setting up necessary tooling if required.
- Uses measurement devices like tape measure, caliper, micrometer, and hand tools such as a magnetic drill, grinder, saw, and air tools for assembly.
- Prepares layouts for sub-assemblies and builds jacks, testing for voltage and amp height requirements.
- Operates a fork truck and overhead cranes, entering work order information through terminals in the shop.
- Fulfills safety guidelines for all equipment operation.
- Reviews prints from engineers for accuracy and trains new electrical assemblers.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of two years of electrical experience preferred.
- Experience in crane or heavy equipment manufacturing industry preferred.
- Basic computer knowledge including keyboard operation and navigating computer applications.
Pay Range
Pay Range: $15 - $17 per hour based on experience, education, skills and qualifications.
