About the Role
We are seeking an Electrical Assembly II (Electro-Mechanical Assembler) to perform routine to moderately complex electro-mechanical builds, wiring, repairs, and inspections in support of Navy and defense systems.
Responsibilities
- Assemble subassemblies and systems following engineering drawings and work instructions, including wiring, soldering, crimping, and cable routing
- Support mechanical and electrical assembly of hardware such as chassis, wiring harnesses, and circuit boards
- Conduct inspections, functional testing, and maintain accurate documentation to ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards
- Follow safety protocols, work in a clean environment, and support daily production goals
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent with at least 2 years of relevant electro-mechanical assembly experience
- Hands-on experience with wiring, soldering, and interpreting engineering drawings and wiring diagrams
- Ability to obtain certifications such as IPC-A-620, J-STD-001, and IPC-A-610 (training provided)
Preferred Skills
- Experience working in defense manufacturing or ISO-certified environments
- Knowledge of cable/fabrication and electrical testing
- Team-oriented mindset with a focus on quality and safety
