About the role
We are seeking Electrical Apprentices and Helpers to support electrical construction activities on the Samsung Semiconductor project in Taylor, Texas.
Responsibilities
- Assist journeyman electricians with daily electrical installation tasks
- Support work including: Conduit installation and material handling, Cable tray assembly and installation, Wire pulling and labeling, Equipment staging and cleanup
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Follow all site safety rules and participate in daily safety meetings
- Learn and apply NEC requirements and project standards
- Clock in and out using the company’s time tracking system
- Clock in and out using the company’s time tracking system
- Coordinate work with foremen and other trades as directed
Requirements
- Previous electrical construction experience preferred, but not required
- Willingness to learn and take direction from supervision
- Ability to perform physical labor in an industrial construction environment
- Basic hand tool knowledge
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to work extended hours and overtime as required
- Must be able to obtain and provide a Texas Department of Licensing & Regulation (TDLR) apprentice or helper registration number upon acceptance (if applicable to role)
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to pass a background check

- $20-$25 per hour based on experience and qualifications
