Who We Want

The Experienced Electrical Apprentice will be located at or North Park location on our 1st Shift in Fenton, MI. The hours are 6 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday - Friday, with overtime as required for production on weekends.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Reading blueprints and schematics to ensure proper installation.
  • Installs and bends conduit using manual, mechanical, and hydraulic benders.
  • Performs wire and cable pulls.
  • Learns how to use the NEC codebook.
  • Affords assistance with material handling duties on the jobsite.
  • Uses various hand tools, site tools and safety equipment as needed on the job site.

What You Get Paid

  • The position pays a competitive hourly rate along with a comprehensive benefit package including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, LTD, STD, a 401k with immediate match, 10 paid holidays, PTO, profit sharing bonus eligibility, and paid tuition at Mott Community College for Electrical Apprenticeship Program classes.

Requirements

  • A high school diploma or GED and 4000+ registered Electrical Apprentice hours (registered hours will be rolled into the program).
  • Experience in manual labor, skilled trades, construction, or manufacturing positions.
  • Experience using hand tools and measuring devices.
  • Must be able to demonstrate ability to follow directions, produce quality work, and maintain a safe work environment.
  • Willingness to maintain a professional and clean workspace and assist in shop housekeeping.
