Electrical Apprentice

Duties/Responsibilities

• Aid in the installation of various electrical systems, both indoor and outdoor.
• Perform tasks assigned by the Service Technician or Supervisor in a timely manner.
• Help with installing wiring in residential homes and commercial buildings.
• Follow all safety procedures.
• Use a variety of hand tools, power tools, and ladders.
• Maintain good housekeeping practices throughout the workday.

Required Skills/Abilities

• Show a positive attitude and willingness to learn the trade.
• Have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Have reliable transportation to and from the assigned job site throughout the greater Orlando area.
• Be able to follow written and verbal instructions in English.
• Pass a full background check, drug test, and DMV.
• Be able to work 40 hours a week, including overtime if required.

Education And Experience

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Previous electrical experience is preferred but not required.

Physical Requirements

• Physically able to work with heavy tools and equipment at heights.
• Able to lift 60 pounds at a time to carry heavy cable.
• Work in confined attic or crawl spaces.

Pay

Competitive Pay Rates, paid EVERY Friday.

Schedule

This is an hourly position requiring the employee to record the working hours on a personal smart phone app.
