About the role

Mayfran International is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Shipping & Receiving Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing the flow of goods and materials throughout the supply chain, ensuring efficient operations and timely delivery.

Responsibilities

• Prepares detailed quotations for product, services, and engineering requirements
• Develops and writes equipment specifications, performance requirements, cost analysis, and proposals
• Demonstrates complete knowledge of the organization’s products and policies
• Communicates directly with new and existing customers to explain features and merits of products offered
• Works with sales and marketing department to keep account activities and literature up to date
• Coordinates presale demonstrations and trade show exhibitions
• Investigates product/service warranty claims
• Coordinates multiple projects to completion utilizing project management skills
• Works with customers, sales, production, engineering, and other areas to determine requirements
• Works from discussions, sketches, prints, etc., to visualize product
• Prepares Control Systems drawings for Custom Conveyor Systems
• Programs PLC / HMI programs
• Ensures all activities are performed in compliance with the Quality System
• Assists with product safety and risk analysis

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering or BS in Electrical Engineering Technology with at least 5 years of experience noted above
• Experience designing electrical controls for industrial machinery
• Experience creating and editing electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
• Experience programming common commercial PLC/HMI products
• MS Office applications
• AutoCAD Electrical
