The San Mateo County Registration & Elections Division is seeking seasonal Election Worker – Vote Center Representatives to assist in the upcoming November 3, 2026 Statewide General Election. This is an excellent opportunity to be involved in the election process! The Elections Division is an exciting, fast‑paced environment, especially as elections approach. You will work with a dynamic, well‑organized, and highly efficient team committed to the democratic process. Responsibilities

• Use an iPad tablet to verify voter eligibility.
• Provide voters with information about the current election.
• Guide voters on the use of electronic ballot marking devices.
• Operate office equipment including Windows laptops, printers, and iPad tablets.
• Assist voters with registering to vote and casting their ballot.
• Issue ballots using Windows laptops.
• Maintain accurate files and records.
• Secure election materials and supplies to maintain the integrity of the election.

Skills

• Fluency in Spanish, Mandarin and/or Cantonese, or Tagalog/Filipino is highly desired but not required.
• Fluency in Korean, Burmese, Hindi, Japanese, Indonesian, Vietnamese, or Thai is desired but not required.
