A team-oriented Elder Law and Estate Planning firm in Woodbury, working in conjunction with a Financial Services and Accounting firm, is seeking an organized and highly motivated Associate Attorney with excellent verbal and written communication skills to join its growing practice. Qualifications New York-licensed attorney.At least 2 years of experience in elder law, estate planning, and estate administration.Client service-oriented, with the ability to meet with clients and assess their needs.Organized team player who is considerate and able to work well with others.Self-motivated and proactive in organizing work, with the ability to anticipate issues.Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.Additional practice areas with room for growth and education in Financial Services and Accounting. Responsibilities Drafting, proofreading, and finalizing estate planning documents.Processing estate administration matters from start to finish.Communicating with clients, financial institutions, and courts.Marketing, social media projects, and community events for the firm.Providing concierge services to clients.Supporting Medicaid intake, processing, and review with the Department of Social Services (DSS).
