Elctrical Design Engineer

Location: Redmond, WA • Duration: 6+ months (possible extension or conversion)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Electrical Design Engineer III with a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent) and hands-on digital hardware design experience. The ideal candidate will demonstrate ownership of complex digital boards from schematic through bring-up and validation.

Responsibilities

• Design and validate high-speed digital hardware.
• Develop schematics and oversee PCB layout using industry-standard tools.
• Debug and validate designs using structured methodologies and high-speed test equipment.
• Interpret datasheets, reference manuals, and user guides to inform design decisions.

Requirements

• Strong fundamentals in high-speed digital design.
• Experience with high-speed memory and/or high-speed serial interfaces.
• Proficiency with schematic capture and PCB (EDM) design tools; Siemens Xpeditions toolchain experience strongly preferred.
• Hands-on lab experience with high-speed test equipment.

Pay

Hourly rate: $60.00–$65.00/hr. Factors influencing pay within this range include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
