About the role

Elastic Consultant responsible for Elastic Stack administration, dashboard development, detection engineering, data lifecycle management, integration, compliance support, and cross-team collaboration in production environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, configure, and maintain Elasticsearch, Kibana, Logstash, and Beats platforms ensuring high availability, scalability, and operational stability.
• Develop operational, security, and executive dashboards in Kibana to provide actionable insights, metrics, trends, and compliance reporting.
• Create and tune correlation rules, detection content, and alert logic to minimize false positives and improve detection effectiveness.
• Implement index lifecycle management, retention schedules, archival strategies, and storage optimization to meet operational and compliance requirements.
• Develop scripts and automation workflows using Python, PowerShell, or Bash to automate onboarding, reporting, health monitoring, and operational tasks.
• Generate evidence, reports, dashboards, and security metrics supporting RMF controls, ATO activities, audits, and continuous monitoring requirements.
• Collaborate with Security, Network, Platform, Cloud, and Engineering teams to onboard new data sources, improve visibility, and support remediation activities.
