What You'll Do
- Set-up/break down, clean, monitor, and record the operation of assigned machinery/equipment.
- Follow all applicable production processes to operate and meet or exceed daily production requirements.
Additional Duties and Responsibilities
- Implement job assignments promptly to conduct testing expeditiously, without compromising quality.
- Adhere to existing corporate policies and procedures in the Production Department, including safety and good housekeeping practices.
- Decrease product variability through proper equipment preparation and conduct all assigned work in compliance with established procedures.
- Maintain neat, concise, and accurate records of all associated paperwork.
- Meet or exceed daily production requirements per product specifications as set by Production Planning.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities, as assigned.
Work Environment
- A large percentage of the time is spent in the production area where noise level can be moderate to high.
- Duties are performed primarily in a smoke-free manufacturing environment.

Physical Requirements
- Frequently required to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, balance, and reach.
- Regularly lift and/or move up to 100 lbs.
- Push/Pull up to 500 lbs.
Requirements
- High School diploma and/or two years of college in a technical discipline, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- Two years of experience in an FDA manufacturing environment within the Food or Nutraceutical Industry.
- Two years of hands-on machine experience, encapsulation machines a plus.
- Possess good verbal and written communication skills.
- Be able to take directions, understand GMP’s, and maintain high quality workmanship.
- Have hands-on capability to operate all machinery and equipment, including the ability to tear down and reassemble machinery.
- Operate higher-level technical machines and/or create bulk batches from raw material using formulations from technical directions.
- Effectively communicate in English via speaking, writing, and reading.
- Willingness to work overtime or on weekends, as the workload demands.
