EKG Tech PRN

Job Summary

To provide noninvasive cardiac diagnostic tests for patients with known or suspected heart disease. Perform EKGs, stress tests, holter and event monitoring.

Essential Functions

• Performs and edits EKGs.
• Performs exercise stress tests.
• Instructs patients age appropriately and preps patient.
• Locates patient in hospital information system.
• Utilizes MUSE to locate a patient and retrieve reports.

Education

High School Diploma or Equivalent including education equivalent to completion of secondary school or demonstrated ability to perform the essential functions of the role (preferred)

Licenses/Certification

Certified EKG Technician (CET) - Preferred

Experience

One year experience as an EKG Tech - Preferred
