About the role
This position is accountable for the performance of special noninvasive cardiology testing procedures, as ordered by physicians, to allow detection of potential cardiac problems in a patient population that varies from neonatal to geriatric. There is high daily public contact with patients, physicians, family members, and other departmental staff.
The incumbent must possess strong interpersonal and communication skills and must be self-motivated. The ability to make decisions based upon the Hillcrest values in an independent working environment is essential to the successful performance of the job.
Requirements
- High school Diploma or GED
- At least 6 months of recent EKG experience
- Must be able to pass a basic arrhythmia test
