About the role

Young Interventions, Inc. is seeking a Bilingual Spanish Speaking Early Intervention Specialist in San North Diego County, specifically in the cities of Fallbrook, San Marcos, Escondido, Vista, Valley Center, Encinitas, Oceanside, Carlsbad, Pala Mesa, and surrounding areas. The position is available as a part-time or full-time opening, requiring 20+ client hours per week, plus drive time between sessions.

Responsibilities

  • Implement personalized family-focused treatment programs for children 0-5 years old with or at risk of developmental disabilities.
  • Work with children in family homes using a Routines-Based Parent Coaching Model to help them reach developmental milestones.
  • Provide home visits within the Northern Part of San Diego County, including Fallbrook, San Marcos, Escondido, Vista, Valley Center, Encinitas, Oceanside, Carlsbad, Pala Mesa, and surrounding areas.
  • Maintain a mix of in-person and virtual services depending on client/family needs or preferences.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree required (Child Development, Psychology, or related field).
  • Solid knowledge of basic stages of Infant/Toddler Child Development.
  • At least 1-year experience working with children 0-5 years.
  • Experience working with children with special needs is preferred.
  • Ability to speak and read fluently in Spanish, Cantonese, Mandarin is desired.
  • All candidates must hold a valid driver's license, have reliable transportation, and be willing to travel to various home-based sites throughout the day (within a 30-mile radius).
  • Maintain current vehicle insurance and registration, current CPR certification (Infant, Child & Adult), and current TB test.

Benefits

Compensation for this position includes an hourly rate of $21-$31 per hour, determined based on the candidate's level of education and experience. Additional perks include a comprehensive benefits package, including a 401K with company match, paid training, and ongoing reflective supervision.
