Responsibilities
- Perform site investigations to support environmental projects, including collecting samples and environmental data.
- Manage and analyze sampling data, including summary tables, result interpretation, and sample location maps.
- Assist clients with environmental, health, and safety needs, including regulatory compliance, permitting, industrial hygiene, and health and safety matters.
- Prepare technical reports, including proposals, work plans, environmental reports, permit applications, and health & safety plans.
- Organize and prioritize a diverse workload; maintain accurate records.
Requirements
- BS in Geology, Engineering, Environmental Science or related field.
- 2-5 years of related environmental consulting experience, TN-specific experience preferred.
- Experience with Phase 1 and Phase 2 Site assessments, other site investigations including UST’s, commercial and industrial sites, Stormwater (EPSC).
- Effective on multiple assignments, prioritizing and delegating activities, and delivering on tight deadlines.
- Capable of working independently, under direct supervision of others, and in a team-orientated environment.
- Valid driver’s license and excellent driving record.
- Commitment to safety.
- Microsoft PC applications: WORD, EXCEL, PowerPoint, TEAMSTECH.
- Strong technical, analytical, and research skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Preferred 40-Hour HAZWOPER Asbestos inspector certification.
- Ability for overnight travel (typically in-state).
- Local Travel up to 2-3 hrs. multiple times per week.
- Ability to perform moderately strenuous tasks.
- Ability to work independently in rural and metro environments.
- Experience with Asbestos and other building Sciences issues is preferred.
- Technical writing skills are required.
Qualifications
