Key Responsibilities
- Support the development and implementation of safety policies in alignment with OSHA regulations
- Deliver safety and environmental training programs required by law and company standards
- Lead incident investigations and manage reporting within the EHSQ system
- Maintain and support ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 management systems
- Conduct audits, risk assessments, and job hazard analyses to identify and mitigate risks
- Partner with cross-functional teams to implement Lockout/Tagout procedures and safety improvements
- Support sustainability initiatives, recycling programs, and environmental compliance efforts
- Contribute to safety-focused improvements in capital projects
- Collaborate with global and regional EHS teams to ensure alignment with broader initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Environmental Health, or a related technical field
- 3–5 years of industrial safety experience
- Working knowledge of OSHA CFR 1910 and 1926 regulations
- Experience with safety management systems (ISO 45001, ISO 14001)
- Ability to manage confidential information appropriately (HIPAA awareness)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities under deadlines

Additional Skills & Interests
- Professional certifications such as CSP, CIH, ARM, or similar

- Experience in a manufacturing environment (food-grade experience preferred)
- Familiarity with ISO 50001 or other energy/environmental standards
- Knowledge of industrial hygiene practices and ergonomics

Ways of Working / Working Conditions
- Primarily office-based with regular time spent in production facilities
- Required use of personal protective equipment (PPE), including lab coat, safety glasses, gloves, and hair/beard covering
- Occasional exposure to cold environments (up to -55°C)
- Physical activities may include lifting up to 50 lbs, bending, and crouching
Compensation & Benefits
- Expected pay range: $84,761-$116,546
- Benefits: 401(k) with up to a 9% company contribution
- Benefits effective from day one
