About the role
As an EHS Specialist at Compliance Management International (CMI), you will play a crucial role in ensuring our clients maintain compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations. You will be responsible for conducting audits, developing and implementing safety protocols, and providing guidance on regulatory compliance.Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough audits of client facilities to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
- Develop and implement safety protocols to mitigate risks and promote a safe working environment.
- Provide guidance and training to clients on regulatory compliance, including understanding and applying environmental laws and standards.
- Assist in the creation and maintenance of documentation related to EHS compliance.
- Participate in regular meetings with clients to discuss progress and address any issues that arise.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Safety, Health, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in EHS compliance or related field.
- Strong knowledge of federal and state environmental regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with EHS software tools such as VeriFLEET, EHS Today, or similar platforms.
- Knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and other relevant regulations.
