EHS Manager

About the role
The EHS Manager leads environmental, health, safety, and regulatory programs to strengthen compliance, reduce risk, and drive continuous improvement in EHS performance. This role provides EHS leadership for manufacturing operations while coordinating compliance activities across sites in the Americas and collaborating with global EHS partners. The position develops and implements EHS programs, builds organizational capability through training, and drives initiatives that promote workplace safety and environmental responsibility.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of EHS programs, policies, and systems, ensuring compliance with applicable federal, state, and local requirements, including OSHA and EPA regulations.
- Drive a strong safety culture by conducting risk assessments, audits, and inspections; leading incident and near-miss investigations; implementing corrective actions; and overseeing emergency response preparedness.
- Coordinate EHS compliance activities across sites in the Americas, collaborate with global EHS partners, and support customer safety, environmental, and regulatory audits and surveys.
- Develop and deliver EHS training, provide guidance to leaders and employees, monitor regulatory changes, and maintain required EHS records, reports, and performance metrics.
- Lead environmental and sustainability initiatives, including hazardous material management, waste and recycling programs, energy conservation, and data-driven improvements to environmental and safety performance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5–7 years of hands-on environmental, health, and safety experience, including experience in a manufacturing environment.
- At least 3 years of supervisory or management experience within EHS.
- In-depth knowledge of federal, state, and local EHS regulations, with experience managing compliance programs, audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders across multiple levels of the organization.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH), or equivalent professional certification.
- Experience coordinating EHS compliance across multiple sites or regions.
- Experience developing sustainability and environmental improvement initiatives.

Pay
$106,670.15 - $133,337.69
Compensation for this position will be determined based on a combination of factors, including education, professional certifications, relevant experience, and other job-related considerations permitted by law.
