About the role
TI Automotive in Gallatin, TN is seeking an experienced EHS Manager to lead environmental, health, and safety efforts across three facilities.
Responsibilities
- Provides leadership in EHS across all three facilities, including Plant 1, Plant 2, and Offsite shared warehouse facility.
- Provides EHS training and expands/improves training initiatives as necessary, including off-shift and/or weekend initiatives.
- Led emergency response activities, training, and coordination among all shifts.
- Serves as a 24-hour contact for the facility in emergency situations and provides incident command as needed.
- Leads and investigates incident investigations, focusing on root cause analysis and prevention.
- Aids in general plant security support, including awareness of security concerns, supporting HR during separations, drug and alcohol investigations, and investigating violent threats.
- Leads and expands upon OSHA and TI Automotive Health and Safety Management System policies and procedures through rigorous hazard identification, change management, inspection, and auditing activities.
- Oversees TI Automotive Gallatin's worker's compensation program, building capacity through provider networks, return-to-work programs, light-duty programs, and associated response and follow-up.
- Leads and expands activities for TI Automotive Gallatin's Joint Health and Safety Committee.
- Ensures capital/equipment safety needs are addressed.
- Improves TI Automotive's ISO14001 EMS and ISO45001 HSMS through ongoing compliance and improvement.
- Improves ergonomic standards, job demand analysis, and early intervention activities.
- Supports external regulatory or customer-driven site visits and audits.
- Communicates safety effectively at all levels within the organization, including senior management, employee communication meetings, JHSC, and on the manufacturing floor.
- Promotes a strong safety culture at all levels through goals, incentives, and positive feedback.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in Environmental, Health and Safety Management.
- A degree in Safety is preferred but not required.
