About the role
The EHS Manager will oversee all environmental, health, and safety programs within the Supply Chain – Fulfillment Operations department. This role is based in Greenwood, IN.Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive EHS policies and procedures
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations
- Train employees on EHS best practices and emergency response protocols
- Coordinate with external consultants and regulatory bodies to address compliance issues
- Manage incident reporting and investigation processes
- Ensure all EHS training and certifications are up-to-date
- Work closely with other departments to integrate EHS considerations into operations
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Safety Management, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in EHS management
- Knowledge of OSHA standards and other relevant regulations
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience with risk assessment and management
Qualifications
- Proven ability to lead EHS initiatives and improve workplace safety
- Experience in developing and implementing EHS policies and procedures
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Skills
- Strong knowledge of environmental, health, and safety regulations
