EHS Manager

About the role

The EHS Manager will lead, implement, and continuously improve EHS and safety programs at the Lancaster, OH manufacturing facility. This role requires partnering with site leadership to drive a proactive safety culture, ensure compliance, and continuously improve safety measures.

Responsibilities

• Lead, implement, and continuously improve EHS and safety programs across the site
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and applicable environmental and safety regulations
• Drive risk assessments, audits, and incident investigations to prevent future issues
• Champion a culture of safety through training, engagement, and leadership collaboration
• Partner cross-functionally with operations, engineering, HR, and leadership teams
• Support environmental initiatives including waste reduction, spill prevention, and sustainability

Requirements

• 5+ years of EHS or safety leadership experience in manufacturing or industrial environments
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety best practices
• Prioritized experience developing safety programs and leading training initiatives
• Preferred experience with ISO 45001 and/or ISO 14001
• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field

• Proven ability to develop and lead safety programs

• Strong communication and collaboration skills
