Job Summary
The following challenges await you:
- Report to the Site EHS Manager and lead day-to-day environmental, health, and safety initiatives to ensure compliance, continuous improvement, and a proactive safety culture.
- Develop, implement, maintain, and improve EHS programs and management systems aligned with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards.
- Conduct facility, equipment, and material inspections; maintain records and implement corrective actions to ensure regulatory and company compliance.
- Support compliance with all applicable EHS laws, permits, licenses, and corporate requirements, including permit applications and renewals.
- Serve as the site key user for Intelex EHS Software and the Enhesa Legal Register.
- Lead EHS risk assessments, training programs, safety walks, and employee engagement activities to strengthen site safety performance.
- Provide technical EHS expertise, review operational changes for EHS impact, and coordinate environmental and industrial hygiene monitoring activities.
- Support incident investigations, audits, management reviews, KPI reporting, and corrective action tracking to ensure effective resolution of EHS issues and audit findings.
Your Profile

- Bachelors Degree in Safety, Environmental or Chemical Engineering or Science, or a related field of study or relevant work experience in lieu of a degree. A minimum of 2 years of previous experience in a manufacturing / industrial / chemical setting is preferred.
- Demonstrate a high level of professionalism, organizational skills, and attention to detail; exhibit a high level of motivation and initiative.
- Proficiency in MS Office is required.
- Proficiency in application of EHS regulatory standards is required.
- Preferred certifications: DOT HazMat, RCRA. Knowledge of regulatory standards is preferred.
