About the role

The EHS Data Manager will lead the EHS data strategy, strengthen global reporting, and drive data-driven decision making across Moog. Key responsibilities include designing and maintaining scalable data pipelines, analyzing and creating outputs for EHS data, establishing data quality checks, developing dashboards and reports, and supporting the automation of dashboards.

Responsibilities

  • Design and build scalable data pipelines and data models to support EHS reporting and analytics.
  • Collect, analyze, and create outputs for EHS data to support compliance and risk management.
  • Integrate data from multiple sources into centralized data platforms.
  • Establish data quality checks with key stakeholders, validation processes, and governance standards.
  • Develop dashboards and reports for the Corporate EHS team.
  • Maintain and enhance the EHS data ecosystem.
  • Translate data findings into meaningful insights and recommendations for leadership.
  • Collaborate with IT, engineering, and system administrators to maintain and enhance the EHS data ecosystem.
  • Support EHS initiatives through targeted analytics and high-quality data.
  • Ensure data accuracy, integrity, confidentiality, and alignment with regulatory and corporate reporting requirements.
  • Align reporting cadence, KPIs, and metric definitions with Corporate EHS and business groups.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in data science, statistics, environmental science, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience leading data analytics processes and/or people.
  • Strong foundational knowledge of data analysis concepts and techniques.
  • At least five (5) years of experience with tools such as SQL and Python, ETL processing, data warehousing, data lakes, data modeling concepts, and Microsoft Azure Databricks.
  • Experience in Microsoft Power BI, Azure Data Factory, a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate insights to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with EHS data is a plus.

  • Must live local to the Buffalo area; relocation assistance is not available for this opportunity.
