About the role

The EHS Compliance Specialist will oversee all environmental, health, and safety programs at F.D. Thomas, Inc. They will ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, conduct audits, and develop training programs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all environmental, health, and safety programs
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
• Conduct regular audits and inspections
• Develop and implement training programs
• Coordinate with internal departments to address safety concerns
• Prepare and maintain records related to compliance

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Safety, Health, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in EHS compliance
• Knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and other relevant regulations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience with environmental software tools
