About the role

The EHR Go Account Manager helps faculty and students achieve their learning outcomes by building strong relationships with faculty at colleges, universities, and, in some cases, high schools. This role manages and grows a portfolio of EHR Go accounts through proactive communication, product education, renewals, and identification of additional opportunities for upselling in other programs. The Account Manager also coordinates issue resolution, conducts product demonstrations, and collaborates with the EHR Go team to support customer success and account growth.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain relationships with faculty and other account contacts by listening to needs, answering questions, resolving issues, and recommending appropriate product solutions.
  • Develop account knowledge and use customer insights to secure renewals and identify opportunities for additional account growth.
  • Coordinate urgent troubleshooting needs by providing answers and consulting with the rest of the EHR Go team when necessary.
  • Manage an average portfolio of approximately 200 accounts with sales cycles ranging from one to six months.
  • Maintain a consistent, cadence-based monthly communication plan for assigned accounts.
  • Research customers independently to uncover additional engagement and growth opportunities.
  • Prepare invoices for new customer acquisition and account renewals.
  • Track customer activities, revenue opportunities, and prospects accurately in Salesforce.
  • Conduct EHR Go product demonstrations.
  • Collaborate with the EHR Go team (marketing, fellow Account Managers, implementation and support, and senior management) on account collateral, best practices, acquisition efforts, and larger-account strategy.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Experience in higher education sales required.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce, web applications, Google suite, and Microsoft workspace required.
  • Strong relationship-building and active-listening skills, with a warm, sincere, and confident communication style.
  • Ability to remain composed and solution-oriented when handling pressing or urgent customer issues.
  • High attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate, meticulous records of each customer interaction.
  • Patience and persistence when working through customer needs and complex issues.
  • Customer-focused mindset that considers the customer in account strategy and decision-making.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with Elsevier, McGraw Hill, Wolters Kluwer, Cengage, Pearson, F.A. Davis, ATI Testing, or Laerdal is strongly preferred.

Work Environment

  • Candidates will complete a role-specific assessment as the first step in the hiring process.
  • All video interviews conducted during the hiring process will be recorded.
  • Employment is contingent upon successfully completing applicable pre-employment screening requirements, including verification of employment history, education, and criminal background where permitted by law.
  • All hires must complete employment eligibility verification (Form I-9) in compliance with federal law, including remote verification which may require an in-person identity verification step.
  • Employees are expected to be on camera during meetings in our highly collaborative, remote, on-camera culture unless extenuating circumstances apply.
