EH&S Specialist - Regulatory
Role/Responsibilities
- Cook up and file ECMC Form 2 applications for new oil and gas locations in line with Colorado Energy and Carbon Management Commission (ECMC) guidelines.
- Launch and handle permit amendments via ECMC Form 4, guaranteeing prompt updates and precision.
- Organize and direct pre-development conferences with internal development and regulatory teams to synchronize planning with permitting necessities.
- Fill out and keep up Best Management Practices (BMPs) and Conditions of Approval (COAs) in internal tracking systems to sustain ongoing regulatory compliance.
- Monitor and dispatch all necessary notifications pertinent to pre-production operations in accordance with local and state regulations.
- Track permit status and preserve precise permit data and documents.
- Stay updated on modifications to permitting regulations and furnish counsel to internal stakeholders on compliance necessities.
- Keep abreast of Federal Aviation Administration rules and regulations.
Requirements
In-depth comprehension of pre- and post-drill permitting and compliance procedures in the Oil & Gas sector.
Comprehensive grasp of environmental regulations and safety norms applicable to Oil & Gas operations.
Familiarity with relevant local, state, and federal laws and agencies.
Outstanding project management abilities, capable of handling multiple permits simultaneously.
Attention to detail and dedication to preserving precise records.
Adaptability and capability to operate under stress to meet tight deadlines.
Basic proficiency and familiarity with Microsoft Office/Adobe Acrobat.
Basic understanding of company and industry-specific software and related applications including IMS, ISNetworld, Wellview and Spotfire.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent work experience and training acceptable in lieu of degree.
Minimum of 3 years of oil and gas experience in Colorado.
