About the role
Loenbro Midwest is seeking an experienced EHS Site Manager to provide day-to-day safety leadership on a major power plant project in Lincoln, Nebraska.
Responsibilities
- Enforce Loenbro’s safety policies, procedures, and training programs across all site activities.
- Lead, mentor, and support a team of field safety professionals.
- Conduct daily site audits, inspections, and hazard assessments to ensure full regulatory and corporate compliance.
- Lead incident and near-miss investigations, identify root causes, and drive corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate documentation including safety metrics, reports, permits, and regulatory logs.
- Collaborate closely with project leadership, subcontractors, and regulatory agencies to advance safety initiatives.
- Support planning and execution of high-risk activities including electrical work and critical lifts.
- Promote a strong, proactive safety culture through coaching, training, and engagement with the workforce.
Qualifications
- CHST certification or a minimum of 5+ years’ experience in construction safety.
- If CHST is not held, it must be obtained within the first 12 months.
- Experience in electrical safety and data center construction (strongly preferred).
- Deep knowledge of OSHA standards, risk mitigation, and industrial safety best practices.
- Demonstrated leadership ability with strong communication and analytical skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and safety management software.
- Ability to travel periodically as needed.
