EH&S Generalist (Onsite)

About the Role
The Environment, Health and Safety (EH&S) Generalist works with site EH&S and Operations to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local requirements. You will support Collins Aerospace standards and the implementation and oversight for high-risk control programs in a complex manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Ensure company compliance with existing, new, and emerging federal, state, and international environmental, safety, and health regulations.
- Develop and deploy environmental and safety policies, systems, programs, and processes.
- Apply methods and techniques for hazard identification, hazard evaluation, risk assessment, and control.
- Conduct regulatory review and impact analysis of diverse scope and complexity; evaluate variable factors and lead process changes as needed.
- Conduct full site inspections and participate in compliance audits; capable of leading compliance audits at sites of low to moderate complexity.
- Collect, manage, and analyze data; maintain records and identify trends.
- Prepare regulatory reports and permit applications.
- Lead EH&S teams and contribute to cross-functional committees.
- Develop, manage, and execute EH&S training programs, including documentation, recordkeeping, course development, delivery, and evaluation.
- Develop solutions to complex problems, referring to established precedents and policies as needed.
- Prepare written and spoken internal and external communications, including reports, surveys, documents, and website content.
- Lead process and information management mapping.
- Assist in the design and development of applications and tools, and help investigate and resolve related issues.
Requirements
- University Degree and minimum 5 years of prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience.
- Manufacturing work setting experience.
Qualifications We Prefer
- EH&S experience in the Aerospace Industry.
- Knowledge/experience in avionics/aerospace.

Pay
The salary range for this role is 95,500 USD - 181,700 USD. The range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including role, function, responsibilities, work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
