EH - Nurse Registered - Emergency Department
About the Role
Exeter Hospital and Core Physicians, part of Beth Israel Lahey Health, serve the beautiful NH seacoast region with a mission to create healthier communities. The Emergency Department cares for a diverse patient population with a wide range of medical needs, handling approximately 33,000 patients annually. The department includes a 21-bed main Emergency Department and a 6-bed Minor Care area.
Emergency Department nurses at Exeter Hospital possess strong clinical assessment skills, superior judgment, and the ability to manage challenging situations and set priorities. They care for patients of all ages with various injuries and illnesses in settings such as triage, critical care, trauma care, emergency care, and the Minor Emergency Care Unit (MECU).
Requirements
- Active RN license - NH State or any other compact state
- BSN preferred
- 1 year of Emergency or Critical Care experience preferred
- BCLS certification at hire
- ACLS and PALS certification or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire
