eGRC Product Owner II (US) - Laws, Rules, and Regulations
About the role
The eGRC Product Owner II – Laws, Rules, and Regulations is responsible for ensuring a development team (pod) or multiple development teams (pods) create value for the organization through the delivery of stakeholder-focused product increments. This involves aligning with other Product Owners and senior management to follow a product vision, creating and maintaining a prioritized product backlog, managing delivery blockers, and continuously assessing customer feedback.
Responsibilities
- Aligns with senior management on the product delivery roadmap, Minimum Marketable Features or Minimum Viable Products, and release cadence.
- Creates and maintains a product backlog and continuously re-prioritizes user stories to provide the most customer or end user value.
- Manages delivery initiatives and (depending on complexity) oversees multiple development team (pod) backlogs.
- Manages defect management and prioritization.
- Manages oversight process, risk-based identification and monitoring of related risks and regulatory compliance across the supported functions.
- Manages performance and risk issues and facilitates action/remediation plans.
Requirements
- Undergraduate degree and / or product certificate required.
- Graduate degree preferred.
- 10+ years relevant experience.
- 5-7 years Product Owner or Agile related delivery experience.
- Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) certification and project management experience considered an asset.
- Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) certifications or experience operating in scaled agile delivery considered an asset.
Qualifications
- Extensive experience developing and owning tooling and producing reporting for Global Compliance programs at a large FI or G-SIB.
- Experience building logical data models to integrate LRR's into the broader risk management framework for enabling holistic Non-Financial Risk Reporting and Insights.
- Experience working with LRR content vendors.
- Experience establishing a Reg Change Management lifecycle.
- Experience establishing a policy inventory inclusive of workflows to maintain lifecycle management, linkages to LRR's and Controls, clear roles to drive proper governance and accountability.
- Experience establishing a monitoring inventory with testing integration and automated testing methodology.
- Experience integrating enterprise Issue Management into the broader Compliance Management System.
- Extensive experience in Laws, Rules, and Regulations Management / Regulatory Change Management.
- Experience in Policy Management, Monitoring and Testing, and Issue Management.
