Egg Depot Associate

About the role

This role is responsible for verifying delivery counts, entering data into computer systems, processing order paperwork, and maintaining strict biosecurity and cleanliness standards.

Responsibilities

• Verify egg counts picked up from farms and enter them into the computer system.
• Perform and maintain all paperwork associated with customer orders.
• Pull together eggs for customer orders and prepare eggs for shipping, ensuring the orders are processed in an accurate and timely manner.
• Communicate with drivers regarding egg pickups.
• Maintain open communications with management, hatchery personnel, and production planning.
• Responsible for maintaining correct physical inventory.
• Operate a pallet jack.
• Follow all safety, biosecurity, and animal welfare policies.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years of age
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong work ethic, dependability, honesty, and professionalism
