Effingham Hospital - Full-Time - Anesthesiologist

About the role

NorthStar is seeking an Anesthesiologist to join their team at Effingham Hospital. This position offers a 5-day/week schedule without nights, call, or weekends/holidays. It is a surgery center-style role at a small critical access hospital with 2 operating rooms.

Responsibilities

• Mainly perform medical direction with 25% of cases being self-performed.
• Cases include Bread & Butter, Orthopedic, Gastrointestinal, and Ophthalmology procedures.
• Block proficiency is a requirement.

Requirements

• Board-certified Anesthesiologist.
• Experience with robotic surgeries preferred.
• Experience with critical access hospitals is beneficial.
