About the role
Valley Pediatric Dentistry is seeking a dedicated Flex Expanded Functions Dental Assistant and a Flex Dental Assistant to join their growing team, to help children build lifelong, healthy smiles on Fridays.

What You’ll Do
- Prepare and comfort pediatric patients for procedures
- Take diagnostic radiographs
- Set up, clean, and maintain treatment rooms and sterilization areas
- Perform restorative procedures: place, contour, and finish fillings
- Auxiliary tasks: set up and perform sealants and fluoride applications
- Provide coronal polishing and oral hygiene education
- Deliver post-op instructions and contribute to a smooth clinical flow
- Maintain accurate patient records
- Uphold OSHA, HIPAA, and infection control standards

What You’ll Bring
- Active EFDA License for PA or Graduate of a Dental Assistant Program
- CPR Certification (training available in-house)
- Valid PA X-Ray License
- Strong communication skills and a team-first mindset
- A commitment to safety, compliance, and compassionate care
- Able to travel between pediatric locations in Carlisle, Harrisburg, and Camp Hill
A Plus, But Not a Requirement
- Experience with Open Dental software
- Previous pediatric dental experience
