EEG Technician I PRN

Schedule

Shift hours and days will be as needed (variable). Travel is 75% of the Time. Required to travel to all Orlando South Hospital Division Campuses.

Requirements

• Knowledgeable and practiced in 10-20 system of measurement.
• General knowledge of EEG procedures and equipment.
• Ability to observe EEG tracings and respond appropriately to abnormalities/seizure activity.
• Ability to recognize artifact and reapply or replace appropriate electrode(s).
• Ability to function independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
• High School Grad or Equiv.
• Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS).

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in neurodiagnostics, or completion of a formal on-the-job training program or completion of at least 50% of courses and meets department expectations or graduate of an accredited electroneurodiagnostics program.
