About the role
The Educator-SBH teaches courses in the School of Behavioral Health and performs other duties as needed.
Pay
Hourly rate ranges from a minimum of $17.00 to a maximum of $200.00, based on the candidate’s qualifications and experience.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field (required)
- Master’s Degree or PhD (preferred)
- Minimum one year of experience (preferred)
Skills
- Expertise in subject content
- Knowledge of current technology and educational media used in teaching and presentations
- Professional use and competence in English (written and spoken)
- Proficiency with computer, printer, and software programs (e.g., Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Effective telephone communication
- Critical thinking and ability to manage multiple assignments
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills
- Ability to relate and communicate positively, effectively, and professionally with others
- Ability to work calmly and respond courteously under pressure
- Adequate vision to read computer screens and written documents
- Sufficient hearing for general conversation in person and on the telephone
- Ability to distinguish colors and workplace sounds as necessary
Licensures and Certifications
License and/or certification may be required depending on the program taught.
