Educator - Officer Childcare Centre

About the role

The Officer Childcare Centre seeks an Early Childhood Educator who can develop and implement a curriculum fostering the holistic development of children, lead a team of educators, cultivate strong relationships with parents, introduce innovative teaching methodologies, and advocate for the children's needs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a curriculum that supports the emotional, social, and intellectual growth of each child.
• Lead by example, inspiring and guiding a team of educators to provide exceptional care and education.
• Cultivate strong relationships with parents through open communication and collaboration.
• Introduce new and creative teaching methodologies, keeping the learning environment fresh and engaging.
• Be the voice for the children in your care, ensuring their needs and interests are prioritized.

Requirements

• Working towards or hold a minimum of a Diploma in ECEC (or ACECQA approved equivalent).
• Valid WWCC (Child protection / Red Nose / Food Safety training, or willingness to obtain).
• Knowledge of Child Safe Standards.
• Genuine motivation and passion for the Early Childhood sector.
• Knowledge of EYLF and the NQF.
